The best known traditional Greek cheese. It is a major part of the Greek diet and is related to Greek history and traditions. It is prepared using sheep’s and goat’s milk from our region. Its color is naturally white and it is characterized by a mildly piquant taste which is acquired by its 4-month maturation inside wooden oak barrels.
